iFilm English TV to air ‘Track 143’

iFilm English TV’s feature ‘Track 143’ has been scheduled to go on air on January 21, 2023.

The movie, produced by Mohammad-Hossein Qasemi and Abouzar Pourmohammadi and directed by Narges Abyar, reviews the story of a young man who has been dispatched to the frontlines during Iraq-Iran war.

His mother, living a bitter life in his absence, is looking forward to getting any information about him.

She does not even know if her son has been captured by the enemy or killed until some of the prisoners of war return to Iran.

Members of the cast list are Merila Zarei, Mohammad-Javad Ezzati, Mehran Ahmadi, Gelareh Abbasi, Yadollah Shademani, Saman Saffari, Zahra Moradi, and Mahya Dehqani.

The movie was nominated in seven categories at the 32nd edition of the Fajr Film Festival in Iran and received the audience choice award. In addition, Zarei won the award for the best actress.

‘Track 143’, made in 2013, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT (03:30 Tehran time).

iFilm English TV will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).
